Hi,

I am new to PHP, can someone guide me on how to get the current date and validate it against a range of dates?

In short, I am creating a small application in CCS that allow authorized users to upload files and put a start and end date for each of these files. Visitors will then be able to view these files and download during this period only.

Would appreciate any help.

For starters:

In PHP use date() to retrieve the current system date.
In SQL use curdate()
