I think it would be nice if in Design Mode you could see the values for
your default language, rather than the name of the label it creates.

Maybe a button letting you walk in series through placholder view, first language view, ... (like Words <<ABC>>).

Or a button offering the languages as defined in resources (droplist)
and on select, showing all the placeholders in the chosen language,
first option being None, show placeholder.

This is already done! Tools -> Options, Design Editor, Show Translation
Resources As: Resource id or Translated Text.

Doesn't seem to work on buttons though, but definitely helps a lot.
