Hi,
I need to develop an electronic patient record application and the time allocated to the project is quite short
I think that CCS can help me in speeding up the project, what is the learning curve for CCS?
Also I will need to implement an authorization system based on levels (doctors, nurses, admin... quite simple) where based on the level I will show/hide items on a menu (e.g. doctors could insert data while nurses will only be able to view them).
Before finding CCS I was looking at phpgacl (lots more functionalities than I need), can I use the inbuilt CCS security/authorization to achieve it?
Thanks
Lulazz

The learning curve depends on you and how much time you are willing to put into it (which includes reading the documentation). With this product you are only limited with what you think you can and can't do. I have yet to run into a mountain that I can't climb with this tool. It has and still is serving me very well. You can definitely use the suggested CCS authorization system or you can create your own. Need examples?? Checkout these links for yourself: http://forums.yessoftware.com/posts.php?post_id=74329 (a web application that I developed) http://forums.yessoftware.com/forum.php?forum_id=29 (showcase forum) http://www.yessoftware.com/marketplace/ (CCS marketplace)
Enjoy!!!

Hi Mambobrown,
I had a look at your app and it is similar to what i want to do...the menu items depend on the login.
If you have time can you please tell me how to do it using CCS?
in the meanwhile I am checking the documentation.
Thanks
