(See http://forums.yessoftware.com/posts.php?post_id=89117 for original post.)
It sure would be nice to have a task list available in the IDE. I currently don't see any way in which to make such a list for each CCS project.
I was thinking of something similar to what was in MS FrontPage. I find that it's a convenient way to make notes to myself about what needs to be done; about the things I still need to complete before I roll out the web application to other users. Does something like this exist in CCS and I'm just not seeing it?
There are dozens and dozens of Project Management software applications out there: some free, others not. But I'm more interested in something with quick access (within the CCS IDE), not bloated and distracting, but with enough features to help organize project development (priorities, for example).
I see the "diagram" page, which is nice, and perhaps a task list could be integrated with this view. One views each page and each page's component as objects, and perhaps task items could be appended to each page and each component along with a priority. Then, if desired, the developer could view a comprehensive task list for the entire project.
Thanks,

This feature may already be available as a plugin/enhancement/whatever
to CVS. May want to look there.
You could look at a CCS generated project management package such as
Issue Manager from UltraApps (http://www.ultraapps.com). There's a free
version and paid version. Source code available for customizing and
integrating into your own group's intranet.
Finally, CCS provides an SDK for enhancing the app any way you like.
You might even create what you're asking for and make a nickel or two. :)
