Hi,
I am still evaluating CCS and I would like to ask management to buy a license.
Since they ae quite difficult to convince I have to prove that it will save me an amount of time that is worth buying it.
I would like to show them some of the capabilities of CCS e.g. reporting, form creation to insert data and DB driven menu creation.
I have only the menu system left, but I am not able to download the ccsexamplepack2 because I do not have a serial.
Can someone please help me in building such a menu and include it on every page (depending on the page the items will be different)?
Or point me where I can download the example
Thanks

No luck yet...
if it is not possible to get the examplepack2, would it be possible to get an example of a 2 level css menu or directory from one of you CCS expert?
My idea is to get the menu items from a table depending on the group id.
Thanks

As far as I know the 2nd example pack is something you get access to only after you purchase the product. Since the Codecharge customers in this forum are not authorized to distribute the example pack you should contact YesSoftware support directly and ask them to provide you with whatever you need to properly evaluate the product.
I can say this, in all my years of developing software and web sites I have NEVER come across a tool as fantastic as CodeCharge Studio. It is amazing how much time it saves me on projects. I have completed projects that should have taken months in only a week or two. I really cannot say enough positive things about this product. So just buy it and get started! You won't regret it.

JImmy is right. It's a no braininer going with CodeCharge. I know comapnies can be cheap, but CCS is only a few hundred bucks. Not to rip on your managment, but if they knew anything about value they would jump all over this.
AS far as dynamic menus, get the www.codechargetools.com menus for $30. Integrates easily and works very well. Another no brainer.

Hi all,
I agree completely, CCS is great and is saving me time already, I made a request to buy it with management, the problem is there is never money for IT in my company (I work for a non profit organisation where management is a kind of old minded).
Hopefully if I bother them enough they will buy the license.
Thanks

Explain to them what they'd save on you , because you'd work fewer hours and
produce results faster.

I always find it is better to ask for forgiveness than permission.
Just order it (preferably with the company creditcard) and then fight your battle.
