Somewhere in the forum it was suggested that to add files from other projects, simply copy those files (from explorer) into the directory of the project you want them placed.

Under the latest version of CC, I tried coping a project into a project - after all it's just a bunch of files under a directory anyway.

CC appropriately, upon loading the project, recognizes the new directory but does some changes along the way.

All the connections are set to the name of the directory. This is the first problem. It should have preserved the connection, in name only if need be, and not alter every file. It might have been nice, upon publishing, to inform the user that the connection didn't exist without altering the connection by itself.

The styles for the pages do show properly but when you try to publish, it gens a blank style ie white background with black text etc.

Trying to change the style is near impossible because although you can see a physical change, upon publishing it does not take affect.

Second problem: Open any of these new pages and then click somewhere on the page but not with grids or anything else. Then click on the Format tab for Properties and see nothing. Humm...

Third problem: open at least one page in designer mode. Then create a new page, call it junk. Throw a grid on there with a builder. Now publish. CC starts publishing the previous file that was opened and adjacent to the left but simply doesn't see the new page created. Only solution is to close the new junk page and then reopen and publish. Is this a pointer problem?

Any suggestions?
