There are a number of posts about RSS feeds already on this forum. However they don't seem to offer a conclusion to the problem:

Can we create grids in CSS and then export them as XML files rather than PHP files for use with a feed reader or not?

Any answers would be great!

The HTML file (the 'template') can be changed around to output in whatever
markup you require, HTML, XML, etc.

Solved:

The easiest way I have found, is to add the following line to your .htaccess file.

AddType application/x-httpd-php .xml

This will execute the XML file as if it was a php. Just create it normally in CodeCharge (codeview) add grids like you usually would. Then rename the feed.php file you create to feed.xml.

Happy feeding!
