Hi, am using CodeCharge 3.2.0.1

I have links that go to a restricted page.

when a user is not logged in and they click on the link, they are directed to a login page.

Once they login in, I would like them to be directed to the page (link) they were trying to access to begin with, but instead it takes them to the template page.

For example: the link they click on is:

Profiles.asp?ID=87

they are sent to the login page:

Profiles.asp?ret_link=%2Profiles%2Easp&type=notLogged

Then after login the the page loads (Profiles.asp without the switch) , but the URL remains the same: Profiles.asp?ret_link=%2FFinch%5FProfiles%2Easp&type=notLogged

I have "redirect to previous page" set to yes in the properties.

I have deleted and completely rebuilt the page and still no luck.

Hi Bubba,

I had a similar problem when I was using CCS2 and so I thought I would post some of the things to look out for and see if they will help you.

Pls check the following:
1) Login Button - leave empty its 'Return Page' property
2) Cookies are enabled in your browser
3) Time set both client and server is correct, otherwise cookies may expire before they arrive
4) Enough rights to access the page

All the above still didn't solve my problem then. But the following did although I can't find where it is set in CCS3 and also my code is PHP so I'm not sure if it will help you but hopefully will give you a clue.

Under Site Properties, set Superglobal Arrays to 'Yes' and regenerate project. This did the trick for me. Hopefully you'll find some clues if you still haven't solved your problem.
