Please I need to know how to generate some codes (numeric or alphanumeric) randomly, store them in a database, and anytime the codes are used to access a record, the log (usage) will be displayed and the numbers or these access codes generated will have a maximum number of times it will be used, and also these access codes cannot be used to access multiple database records.

What scripting language/database are you using?? Also, have you searched the forums to see if anyone else has asked the same questions??

- Can you use the autonumber feature in MSACCESS?
