How are you all getting these applications to work on Unix. All I get is
Internal Server Error. All my permissions are right, and my data base
connection syntax is right, what else is there to do.

Does any one have any documentation on the Perl version of the Online
Portal. All the send with it is how to set up the data base. They don't
tell you anything else at all. I have asked this question about 4 times
already. Why doesn't any one offer any answers.

Such nice looking apps, but incredibly lacking dicumentation.

Make sure your hoster has DBI modules for Perl installed in Apache. Otherwise, CC can't connect to the databases and may give a 500 error. Also, poke around in telnet with your cgi's (do a few whereis perl commands to make sure paths are correct, ls -l to make sure of permissions, etc..). If your hoster doesn't allow Telnet, i'd seriously think of looking for one who does: you really can't do any serious business while being locked out of the server. My site runs on CGI's / CC / Apache / Unix(Solaris) just fine.

I have all that on my host too. I install scripts on a daily basis. I am
a web master. I own three web sites. And working on two others putting
in shopping carts. I have allot of experience with .cgi, .pl. (but not
so much with My SQL).

I have never had this happen to me. I have looked again and again.
I don't see anything out of the ordinary.
