I downloaded the asp portal with template but i noticed that in the default page the news column is empty. I tried to put an article by the admin panel but, under "news", was still "no records". I don't understand!
The others things work perfectly!

Hello,
first, please check "news" tables content. News form is designed to display first record only. In addition field value is JavaScript that takes news from meerkat.oreillynet.com site.
