What version of CCS are you using?? Have you contacted support?? Have you tried executing a simple echo statement to be absolutely sure that it is not working right??

version 3.2.0.2, this bug will be visible when grid was generated in project which use MySql 5 . If Mysql 4 no problem. But if grid was generated while project used Mysql5 and then you did reinstall mysql to version 4 the problem will be still exist.
Of course i tried echo ""; too. It's not working.
The problem was resolved by reinstall Mysql to version 4 and regenerating.

Also interesting thing - If your editable grid have required fields, and you try to do insert (add new row) then we see an error that this field is require. And this is correct.
Not Correct is that at this moment begin working After_Insert event and all test echo"test_after_insert" will stay visible!

The proper way of contacting support is directly.
The forum is more so as a vehicle for user-user assistance.
I recommend opening a trouble ticket - they are very responsive.
