In asp/access I've been used to passing the contents of related fields i.e.
JobID connects the invoice table to the job table and I can link from the invoice record to the job record passing the JobID.
I can't seem to do this in PHP/MySQL
Is it me?
Tony

Yes, it's you
Can you be a little more specific in describing what you are trying to accomplish?

Probably:
You intend to tell us that when using Builders in ASP/Access
to build forms/grids, linked tables where already available in the forms if you wished to use them, during the Wizzard steps.
This is indeed true in Access based on table.fieldnames.
This AFAIK is only true for access based databasetables.
Anyway it is NOT available in the PhP/MySQL setup.
It would be nice if it did, but that should be posted in the wishes forum.
Walter
You could however be very clever and construct your target MySQL database in Access making sure everything is 1-on-1.
Then when using designer you have above facility, and after generating you end up with PhP/MySQL version (ssst, I did not....)
