I have created an editable grid on new blank page using the Builders->Editable Grid Builder.
When I enter values in an empty row - the field contained a date will get blanked out when pressing the submit button. The date that are entered into my MySQL table is 0000/00/00 even though I have entered a valid date.´
All other fields have their values as I entered them.

I'm using CCS 3.2.0.2.

What am I doing wrong?

This is what I d o to get the MYSQL dates to work.

In Settings/ Locales and Encodings/ Date Display Format ...put this in the text box: yyyy-mm-dd

Now, on your editable grid put that (yyyy-mm-dd) in the DB Format field. (Properties>Data)

I usually set the Format field (aka, the "show format" to Shortdate.

Wherever that Date field is displayed, on a label for example, you have to set the DBformat to yyyy-mm-dd, and set the Format to Shortdate.

When you set the DB Format, the HH:nn:ss.. stuff will pop up as well, I just delete them off.

Hope that works for you!

Change locales to the suggested format, but it didn't solve the problem - still insert 0000-00-00 into table and then clears the field.

I found the solution.

Went into Project->Settings->Connections->Modify->Server Tab

Modified the Date Format to yyyy-mm-dd then the editable grid remembered the date.
