I tried to search the forum but couldn't find the answer.....
I would like to know if it is possible to use another editor, lets say notepad++ for the code and dreamweaver (or any other wysiwyg editor) for the design mode
I tried to modify an insert form from the application builder and is a nightmare ...

Which language flavour are you using?
If PhP with Templates and all others with templates, then you can edit the
HTML templates/files (*.html) with any good editor as long as you do NOT
edit/change/delete the special labels CCS needs and uses.
Indicated as <!--- BEGIN....... --> and <!-- END........-->
As far as the sources *.php *_events.php are concerned, you can edit these
from within CCS or using any good editor. In the last case, CCS will inform
you that a file was edited outside of CCS, asking you to accept or decline.
Hope this is clear enough.
For good editor one can read (html) Dreamweaver and the likes.
Even FrontPage is supported in some cases.

I am using php,
I tried to edit the html file with dreamweaver but cannot see anything in layout mode
will try with another editor tomorrow
