We want to make 2 records side by side - but we can't figure out how to drag and drop them...is there a way?

Yes, you can drag and drop them. But you have a place to drop them somewhere, for example inside a table cell. You're limited by what HTML allows and may need to create an HTML table to place forms there. You can also modify the HTML directly and create DIV sections.
