Hi there.

I am trying to develop an application similar to the one contained in the example "CCSExamplePack\OrderEntry\OrderEntry_desc.html" using emptyRows=30. It happens a problem when I try to submit an alteration in the only "Order item" I've added previously. The system returns validation error for all the rows, even the ones that are invisible (empty rows that I didnīt add).

Why is this happening ? Can anyone help me ?

Thanks,
Claudio.

Can you provide that validation error?

Hi, Peterr.

The grid referrs to the table PersonActivity and relates Persons to theirs Activities through the foreign keys IdActivity and IdPerson.

The original errors (by row) I obtain when I try to update a row preexistent are :

"The value of the field IdActivity is required".
"The value of the field IdPerson is required".

Thanks,
Claudio.

OK. Do you possibly have a checkbox somewhere in that grid? Checkboxes always have a value (True or False), therefore your application has no way of knowing which rows are empty and tries to submit all records.
