 how to give permission in IIS in control pannel for perticular website

dear members

please help me out here,

i m trying to run one website in local host, but it gives the error of authorization,

i tried to give permissions through IIS in control pannel, but again it doesnt work...

please guid me , how can i set the permissions for perticular website

Hi,

Try this in Windows:


Start>Control panel>Administrative tools>Internet Information services

Click "local computer" > Web Sites > Default Web site > Then "right" click on your published folder where your website is in > choose "all tasks" and you see "permission Wizard", click that. click "next", select "Select new security settings from a template" click next, choose "public website", click next, select "Replace all directory and file permissions" click next, click next acouple of times and then click finish.

That should do it...... I hope...
