OK, this has never happened to me before but tonight it has happened twice on a record form and once on a search form. I built the forms using the Search Builder and the Record Builder and they appeared to be fine. But I'll be working along, changing text boxes to lists, setting default values, etc.; just regular stuff. Then at some point when I look at the Live Page, I notice that my form no longer functions properly. I go back to design view and sure enough the dotted red line that normally surrounds a form is now gone and when I click anything inside the form the properties box fails to properly recognize it.
I'm still using 3.1.1.0. As far as I know, nothing has changed in my setup. I guess I have two questions,
1) why is this happening?
2) is there any way to recover a form without recreating it? (I tried adding comment tags to the HTML but of course that does not work)

I have not had that problem with prior versions but 3.2.04 is acting strangely like you are seeing, Any editing captions or trying to move them causes the form to corrupt and I lose everything. I can not drag text or captions at all, only right-click and cut them then paste them into their new location.
With dragging some controls a warning appear that says something about backlinks to Dom converter failed. I should have written it down. I will next time. But the result is a form that can not be edited, deleted or function, the only way around it is deleting the whole page and starting over.
I will list the problems I've run into using the new patch later today and send a note to Support,

Thanks Stanj,
I'm using 3.1.1.0 and I have NOT upgraded to 3.2.04!
Now I'm wondering if my CCS has somehow upgraded automatically.

@JCC
No automated updates, rest assured.
The response to the "wish to update" is so extensive that you should have noticed it even after many many sleeples beerfilled nights
Walter
PS just installed 3.2.0.4 on testbed, all examples + solutions + kb generated and working.
Most recent project will be next
