Hi,
I need to connect to the data base using java , and also need instruction about how to call the connection to another programme , please give the correct guide lines for this.

Now i have created a database using the MYSQl, in this I have a table called checking where I have two attributes i.e userrname and password, now the issue is how to validate the user ,through his username and password and forward him to another page say user-profile page.
Now i got the connection also but do not know how to validate him .
Please help me .

1. You have to configure : ProjectSettings -> Security
Security Method : Table
Login Page: (PageName with Login Form).ccp
Connection: (Your MySQL Connection)
....
....
You have to enter all fields.
So as you understand there have to be all fields in your table in DataBase.
2. You have to configure : ProjectSettings -> Security Groups
Add 2 groups:
1 Users
2 Admins
