How can I prevent people from putting html in my contact form
Recently I have been receiving junk through my contact form in the form of html

Try using the strip_tags() PHP function. It will strip out all HTML tags unless you specify which ones you wish not to strip out of the string. Here is a link to check it out: http://www.php.net/strip_tags
