I had a minor database change to make, changing one relationship. This
necessitated moving a column from one table to another, and I preferred to
rename one of the affected tables to reflect the new purpose/relationship of
the table.
It should be possible to change a table's name without deleting it, because
that destroys all of the where, select, group by elements.
The cumbersome approach I used was to make a new table with the new name,
add it in query builder, reconnect all the relationship lines, edit the
table column references in the where, select and group by, delete the old
table from query builder, then delete the old table from the database.
The query builder should still open and leave the query intact, but provide
the opportunity to edit a missing table if the table name is changed.
