I am kinda new at this game and trying to learn. I have just used Dreamweaver and Frontpage to develop HTML pages and want to get into .asp. I don't think that Frontpage is the answer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Is there applications out there to create the pages with the code? Do I need to learn how to create the code in word pad????
Please help!

You're right that Frontpage is not the answer. Personally, I use Dreamweaver Ultradev as a primary tool when developing large-scale solutions. For smaller apps and sites that I want to develop quickly, I'm now using CodeCharge 2 to churn out the backend code and Ultradev to tweak the html pages. My 2c is to invest in CodeCharge 2 Pro (and get the upgrade to Studio when it's released) if you want to get into asp programming quickly and easily.
Also, you may want to get a book or two to get you started. I quite like the SAMS "Teach yourself" series. The Teach yourself ASP in 24 hours is pretty good, and will teach you the basics in a short time.
Hope this helps.
