I am trying to practice by customizing the employee directoy. When I create links in the design mode my link codes always translate to something like

<a href="%7BLink1_Src%7D">add</a>

I am looking to have it automatically look like this

<a href="{MerGrid_Src}">

What am I doing incorrectly??

hmmm.. try this.

Make the link (from the Forms Menu) and don't add any parameters or anything fancy.. just insert it and cick ok.

THEN go back into the properties tab of the link, using the href source field, and insert your parameters then.

I did try, but what happens is that the control disapears. I am told that the "link" is not found when I generate the pages.
