I have Codecharge Studio 3 installed on my system.
When I run and begin to edit a page, everything is really SLOW!. Drop Downs, Database items etc...
When I run the page on the server, it runs fine...
But when editing anything on any page... The IDE is really really slow...
Any Ideas?

Maybe 'Auto Complete' is on? Turn it off to see if that helps anything.

i too have been experencing this problem even after swtiching off the autocomplete feature.
whenever i change any property of a control, the response time is pretty high.
like on renaming a control, the ccs ide responds back in about 5-7 second later.
also if we have to change the source of a control the list of selected fields are displayed after 15-20 seconds and that to only after clicking it again when the cursor starts blink in the source field.
is this behaviour of ccs normal or their is some issue with my computer.
fyi the other s/w response time is not at all slower than normally it is on the system.
the sluggishness in ccs ide is even after i have switched off auto complete and none other s/w are working on the system at that moment.
i assume that after switching off autocomplete, the ide is still checking / processing the input keys and only it switched off the module that displays the autocomplete suggestion.

if you wnat to see a real improve on the GUI/IDE
for design use database local Connection.

I had this problem all day until I realized I had changed the name of the table where all my users are stored without updating the name in the project's security settings. After I fixed this, it was working fast again, with a remote db.
