I have a report card component that needs the following functionality and I am having a brain freeze!
Record form where a Listbox has grades (A, B, C D) on Text and Bound.
I also need the GPA of the grade, dependent on the Type of course it is.
The listbox has been filtered to show only the grade values for the course type.
(IE: if it's an honors course, an A is equal to 4.3, if it's a regular course, an A = 4.0 )
What I need the record form to do is insert the letter grade (no problem) AND the gpa score for that grade, on the same record update.
How do I update two fields at the same time, from one listbox selection?
I assume I will be using the AfterExecuteUpdate Event...

Yes.. I found a workaround...but never did solve what I wanted to do originally?If it's simple, could you post sample code? If it's not simple.. no worries.

You pretty much said it in the last statement about putting code in the AfterExecuteUpdate Event.
But remember you will probably need to place code in two event areas (AfterExecuteUpdate and AfterExecuteInsert) or have a function that is called that will take the letter grade (based on the class type) and do a custom SQL insert statement that will insert the GPA grade in the specific field of that record. Hope this helps.
