I have created a site for my personal use in CCS, PHP and MySQL. It seems to me some of you my have use of the code for your own projects. I use it for a local, Western New York, Community site but it would be a great site for clubs, organizations or company intra-net as well.

It features:
1. Database driven static pages. ie, you can edit Home, Contacts, About etc from the admin console.

2. Searchable news archive.

3. Simple user forums

4. Private messages between users.

5. Multiple live chat rooms that can open or close at specific times.

6. Searchable member list with online status.

7. Multiple Category FAQ database.

8. Categorized links database with moderated user recommendations.

9. Multi-part confirmed registration. The site emails a random password to a new user to confirm their email address. This also uses a Captcha image to prevent automated software creating accounts to SPAM your message boards.

Most administration is "In Place"... meaning a moderator or admin can edit user posts without having to go to the administration panel.

Chat rooms are moderated. A moderator or admin can kick or ban an abusive user right from the room itself.

I'd be willing to sell the source, assist in installing it on your server and customize it to meet your needs.

You can see a live site at http://www.meetwny.com . This is a LIVE site so please limit your testing to appropriate messages for the community.

PM me if you have any interest.

Very nice site! I like!
One thing, from a user POV it would be nice to have a "Back to FAQ page" after you select a FAQ category.

Good work!
