:-/ Anybody know how to connect to a Maxwell accounting database through CCS? What would the server connection look like? Do I use ANSI SQL-92 for the database?

Thanks,
Sam

I have never used a Maxwell accounting database (never heard of it) but
I know that in order to make it work in CCS you'll need to create an
ODBC connection for it. If you do that, you can connect to it. This
isn't much but I hope it helps a little. Maybe someone else has done it
and can provide details for you.

Don,

Thanks for quick reply. You are right, I have to create an ODBC connection but what would I use for the value of "Database" when I deploy it on the server. Is it the Ansi one? Is that the generic value?

I can connect fine using crystal reports and odbc but not sure how to do it with CCS.

Thanks,
Sam

Hi Guys,

We can accesses the database from any microsoft product (excel/access) and also from crystal reports with no issues through the providerx odbc. I am unable to get a connection going from CCS 3.2. I used the Ansi-92 database with no success. It doesn't error out but I don't get a listing of the tables either to build any screens. I have contacted support and hope to hear some good news. Does anybody know if this is possible? It should be since it is an odbc database and it is Ansi compliant.

Thanks,
Sam
