display and project settings are working fine with db dates

the issue is i need to popluate a listbox with records from a date field

listbox control in search form doesnt have the same properties as report label in grid as far as date format and dbformat date properties , it has a date control thats it

$this->s_Date_Art_Received = & new clsControl(ccsListBox, "s_Date_Art_Received", "s_Date_Art_Received", ccsDate, $DefaultDateFormat, CCGetRequestParam("s_Date_Art_Received", $Method, NULL), $this);

i know i need to swap the date format but i'm not sure where to do it
something like select Date_Format (Date_Art_Received,'%m,%d,%Y')
or ccsDateFormat

i tried ccsDate , array ("ShortDate"), inplace of $DefaultDateFormat,

close ?

Look into the CCFormatDate() and CCParseDate() functions.
