:-/ Hello
Anybody know how to populate fields when a list box is populated on the form, WITHOUT submitting the form. I am using CCS3.2 so I don't have the ajax functionality of 4.0.

For example:

I use the drop down to select a customer name and it will populate the address on the form automatically. If the customer name drop down is changed, the address will change accordingly.

Real Quick, upgrade to 4.0 and you'll be set with an Ajax tool that'll
do this for you.

If you're not into Real Quick, you're gonna hafta submit the form in a
client OnChange event for the listbox.

Do you know if the AJAX functionality in 4.0 can access a different databases? Basically get the info from one and save it to another?

In my example, the customer info comes from a different database. Once it populates the address info using AJAX, can that information be saved on the database block the drop down is built on?

Thanks

yes you should be able to have multiple connections to different databases and you can use whatever one(s) you want at the same time.
