I added a Ajax service on my search record field.. super easy with the Service Builder...
Works great if you type the first character or first few to list records.. what I would like it to do is search anywhere in the field specified..
if data is.. "US CH Tykabul" as is if I enter "U" that entry pops up to select.
I would like it to work if I type in "Tyk" and all entries with TYK in the name pop up...
example of what should come up would be
US CH Tykabul Vantage Point
Tykabul Will Be there
Hi-Impact's Rushing Tykabul
as it is Tykabul Will Be there would come up when Im searching for US CH Tykabul Vantage Point
I guess I could always remove it.. its just fancy at this point as Im still populating the list.
But it would be good to know for future projects where the record comes up and not a list.
cheers...

go to the service page and position the cursor in the begin or end record part on the page. In the properties box you can now access the record and change the search parameter. Set it to containing instead of begins with and you have what you want.
