I've just started testing version 2.0.5 and I found out (using Portal.ccs from Examples) that CodeCharge does not generate code! Very strange behaviour, as there are no errors reported and installation went very smooth.
Please help as I can't move with that anywhere! Any suggestions?

I guess the first place to check would be the project configuration.
Under Properties/Publishing what is your output path and location specified ?

Hello,
also check Generator list to include all the pages.

1. [teknofile] In Properties/Publishing the output path and location specified OK
2. [Nicole] Generator list includes all the pages (or only required page) OK
In addition I found out, that Project.ccs can't be updated or changed as well. On this point I would like to confirm security rights to all files in the folder C:\Program Files\CodeCharge\Examples\Portal, incl. Portal.ccs (Everyone has access to Modify, Read&Execute, Read and Write). During 'Generation' progress bar seems to be working, but when finishes, no code is there...
Please help - any idea what might be wrong?

Do an Attrib *.* on your output directory to make sure the existing files
are not readonly.
Check your Properties to make sure you have a valid Output Code Path directory.
If none of the above, go to www.sysinternals.com and download a free utility
program called "FileMon". Start it running just before you generate the code.
It will show you which files are being written to and whether it was successful.

Hi Barry,
As you suggested, I've downloaded FileMonitor. Because the output log is quite large, I must filter obviously on the output path activity. Anything else? I'll leave for you attention log file in zip format in my FTP directory. My IP is 212.160.55.129 and login is anonymous. The log file would be called CodeCharge.zip. Otherwise give me your e-mail address, so would send to you the log file. Here is almost midnight, is getting late, so will do first thing tommorow morning (will shut down my server). Thanks for help

Hello,
There could be several causes of this issue and the most common are:
1. Your trial version expires. If you moved system date/time after installing CC it may affect on trial duration.
2. This behavior is by design and appears in cracked versions of CodeCharge. Have you used any serial number to register CC?
If you're register user or no of causes mentioned above do not help you to identify the reason of the problem, please submit your request at our support system.

Hi, I think this would be a case, as I've never finished my trial period. In fact I've never started either. Just after installing trial, I had above mentioned problem from the beginning. It might be due to running Evaluation version of Win2k Professional, I don't know. Any suggestions? I would like to finish at least something on CC to see how it works and if my managers allow me to buy it...Would appreciate any help...Thanks
