I have a page with a form for people to self register on a site

The form has an "on update" and an "on insert" event to send an email to the person registering and a copy to myself. The form also has data verification on most of the fields so I thought it was safe from abuse.

lately I have been getting new registration emails followed closely by non delivery reports to non existent email addresses

When I look at the database there is no new member, when I check the email server the email comes from my web server's IP address

has anyone seen anything like this?

it seems to me that they must be accessing the page-name_events.asp page directly - but I don't know how.

At present there are about four emails a day but as far as I can see I could be spammed off the net if the spammer chose to send more.

Regards
Wayne
