In record and grid builder, if I add any details using record builder then it redirect to the grid showing all the detail available in the database.

I just wanted to show the details which the user add recently not the details of the whole database. Is there any way that after inserting details CCs redirect to the grid only showing the data inserted???? HELP Please….:-)

i have found this artice http://forums.yessoftware.com/posts.php?post_id=90076&s...inserted+record

Easy solution would be to filter the grid by record ID/sort Descending and show only one.. That way the newest one is always first..and is showing in the grid.

But this won't work if you have multiple users who cold be making records at the same time. Yo wold have to capture the record ID of the one you just made and carry it over to the redirect page in the URL.

right before inserting a record we get date/time stamp down to the second and include that as a field in the new record. then we turn around and search based on that date/time stamp. it works for us because we don't have so much traffic that multiple transactions occur within a few seconds. but maybe one way to improve that further would be to have date/time stamp plus a randomly generated number?
