I'm storing an external URL in a MySQL table 'Person', field 'PractWebsiteURL', type varchar.
After creating a Grid, I changed the url field in the Grid to a Link. It looks like this:
<a href="{PractWebsiteURL_Src}">{PractWebsiteURL}</a>
However, every link in the Grid pointed to my own website instead!
In searching the forum, I found http://forums.yessoftware.com/posts.php?post_id=89930 , from this I changed the link property 'Preserve parameters' from GET to None, it didn't help.
After re-reading CCS Help > Links, I changed the property 'Href Type' from Page to Database. Also changed 'Href Source' to use 'Address from database' (field 'PractWebsiteURL') for the link.
Now the link points to www.myWebsite.com/www.targetWebsite.com ... so I'm getting there, but not quite.
Can anyone point what else I've missed pls?

They are treated as relative links unless you include the http:// part.
