Hi!
This is the second time I'm testing CCS. I tried v3.2 a few months ago but had not enough time to fully test it because of others projects taking all my free time. And when I went back to it, demo was expired. Since, I bought a new computer and decided to give another try to CSS now with v4.0.
I'm currently stuck with a probably easy problem for you gurus but it keeps me from going further in my test project. Here it is:
I have to tables:
1- Table "TBL_Division":
-- Division_ID (automaticly generated primary key)
-- Division_Name
-- League_ID
2 - Table "TBL_League":
-- League_ID (automaticly generated primary key)
-- League_Name
-- League_Year
To populate table "TBL_Division", I created a form with two input fields:
-- "Division_Name" is a textbox.
-- "LeagueName_Year" is a listbox showing two concatenated fields (League _Name + ` - ` League_Year) coming from table "TBL_League".
So, when I click "ADD", a custom insert I created (mainly because of the concatenated listbox) , add text to field "Division_Name" and a numeric value (integer) to field "League_ID" which is the "League_ID" from "TBL_League" (TBL_League table contains already data)
This part works fine.
My problem is:
When I want to edit any "TBL_Division" records, value of field "Division_Name" is showed but value of listbox "LeagueName_Year" is not. It shows its default stated "SELECT VALUE"...
I tried to tweak the custom update properties and played with the "before show" event but with no success. And forums were of no help.
I'm sure someone will be able to direct me in the right direction
