Anyone know of an Management Information system that contain the following:
- Employee module where user and employee info can be entered
- Task manager where tasks can be assigned to users but also created by users for the sake of having a time sheet
- Helpdesk
-Asset management where stuff can be added to but also the service history of the asset can be recorded
- Customers and customer requests. I have some customers that request certain data from my organization. I need to log the request and the type of data requested. it can be rejected or approved.I then assign this request to a user to complete this. The effort then becomes a task (todo) to the user and will end up on his timesheet
- Fleet management. Very basic system needs where I have record the vehicles we have, record service history and trip data. On the trip data I need to know the driver name, where they went, odometer reading and costs detail during the trip.
-Projects: I have some projects and want to register the project, and assign tasks to users. Also get some reporting form the project such as project status, tasks associated to the project, etc
-Budget: Also basic, because we have a financial system in place. this is just to communicate current status to regional managers, We have a cost center and then expenses against the cost center.
-Training module: where I can list the planned courses the company are offering or are paying for. Staff can get a list and can nominate them selfs. Also want to record a career plan for each staff member and based on career plan can then identify possible candidates for training planned.

I don't know off hand any system that has all of those features buuuutttttt I might know some software that might come close. Try Joomla ( www.joomla.org and its extensions), Drupal (www.drupal.org and it's modules), SugarCRM (www.sugarcrm.com -Prof and www.sugarforge.org - Opensource) and try Sourceforge ( http://sourceforge.net/search/?words=crm&sort=num_downl...e=0&form_cat=18 ). Maybe these tools and links can lead you in the right direction.
