:-/
Would it be possible to build in CCS link parameters hidding.

There could be more ways to do this with some rows of code (PHP, .... ) but I think it would be good to have this in CCS.

If I would lihe to use SESSION variables, how can I do it in link parameters edit ???

Can help me somebod?

There are a couple of other posts in this forum discussing this issue. Do a search on 'URL parameter' to find them.

Thanks, I have done this some time before. But there was no answer on my question.

If you create link, there in CCS is some "wizard" to create link, and create link parameters:

1 you can select SOURCE TYPE, I use DataSource Column
2 you must select PARAMETER SOURCE, use name of column in database
3 you must select Parameter name YourName ....

and here ist done all you need to create URL based parameter exchange ....

Now it would be good to select ....

1 PASS Paremeter via URL link

OR

2 Pass thru SESSSION VAR .... put PARAMETER NAME to the sesion ...

:-) This is what would beee good to add to the CCS :-)

I hope everybody understands this :-)

If you try the 'Grid and Record Builder' in CCS, it will show you an example of passing a parameter via URL.

As Walter Kempees mentions in the post at http://forums.yessoftware.com/posts.php?post_id=95573 :

To cater for your specific question, you could store the post_id in a session var upon clicking the link leading to the composed URL, while testing for URL posted id aganst the sessionvar upon opening of the article.

it can be solved in CCAddParam function to put there at and of function one row :
CCSetSesion($ParameterName, $ParameterValue);

Then parameters are shown in URL link, but are not use....
SESSION parameter is used :-)

But I dont like to make changes to common.php.
Better way is if it would be solved in CCS :-)
