Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for an online shopping cart that will be flexible enough to:

1) Calculate shipping by multiple shippers (i.e. FedEx, UPS, USPS, ....)
2) Will work with either ASP or ASP.Net

Thanks.

try:

http://www.2checkout.com/home.html

click the "Third party carts" link on home page

I used this company for credit card processing. Kind of prices at 5.5% per transaction but very reliable on sending you cash each month. I believe you have to go to each shipper's websites to pick up the code to add reliable shipping rates to you cart.

Vincent,

THANKS for the tip about ProductCart. Are you using it currently? Have you ever integrated it with CCS?

We have needed something like this for some time and were considering creating our own. But so far everything I've seen about ProductCart (ASP/SQL Server/Access, source provided, tons of features, ability to customize and private label, decent price) has me quite hopeful we'll be able to simply license this product and customize it for resale!! This could save us months and months! thanks again.

JCC,

I'm working with it right now yes (www.cinchstuff.com/shop/pc). FYI: Early Impact is working on a .NET version as well. This software is just awesome, like you, we were thinking originally about developing our own when I found ProductCart. From there the idea of developing an in house shopping cart was not making any sense anymore. I work for an apparel company. I love the add-ons as well, I bought the Apparel add-on as well and it just sinplified my life here :) Considering that this product has been under development for years, in its version 3.xx, all the add-ons offers (apparel, quickbooks, ebay...and more) Make this shopping cart one of the most complete I have ever seen. I think you're like it! I'm glad I've been helpful to you.

Vincent,

We chatted with the folks at Early Impact and I was impressed not only with their product but also with their support. They patiently answered a ton of questions for me.

Basically I found that you can be a reseller and the public-facing cart carries no branding (except your own). If you also need/want the admin area to be unbranded you can get a private-label agreement at no additional cost (although you do have to commit to purchasing a minimum number of licenses to get this).

I'm looking forward to using it on a project soon. Thanks again.

Cool! I had a very good experience with support as well. I had no idea about the possibility of getting a private-label agreement at no additional cost. I've several Ecommerce site to create for the company I'm working for so I should definitely look into this. Thanks for the info :)
