I set up FTP to publish files and it works fine.

However, no matter what I try, I can't get it to just publish single files. It always publishes the whole project.

I've right-clicked on a file in the Project explorer. I choose "publish fname" and it still publishes all files.

Thanks,

Jer

Select the page you want to publish in the project Explorer pane, then go to the icon that is under the Help menu at the top.
You'll see Publish and Quick Publish.

Quick Publish is what I use a lot. It publishes the single page.
Ctrl-F8 is the shortcut.
Enjoy!

Thank you. That worked.

Perhaps it's me but I find it out that "Quick Publish" isn't available when you right-click the file in Project Explorer. And to me seeing "Publish filename" sounds like it's just one file and not the project.

Ctrl-F8 will be a big help.
