first, I looked the tutorials and examples.
I am not able to build any directory.
given a very simple table containing these columns :
department varchar(5), service varchar(8), employeename varchar(40).
How can I build a treeview showing departments, services and the employees in their service.
We tried a lot of things to build the treeview with the directory builder. We didn't manage to get it.
The CCS example about yellow pages seems to be built over a very strange table structure where are mixed in one column, two different ids.
We tried a lot of things in the 3 parameters managing the object (category field and so on).
Poor Powerbuilder developers we are, where a beautiful windows treeview was built in two clicks.

What did we miss ?
Other tutorials on that subjects, or other more natural examples ?
thanks
