Hello all,
what is necessary as a user account or service in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 so that it will work with CodeCharge? I converted the CodeCharge Registration example from Access to Postgres, which worked, but the customer is a Microsoft shop; after switching over to MS SQL it's apparent CCS is blocked from opening any tables.

I did not use a user login & password when setting up the server connection; there is an SA user in MS SQL but I haven't tried it yet.

Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.

To give a little more background on Henry's post, the connection to the SQL
Server is taking place (he is using NT Authentication at this point), but
the QueryID is failing at the DAL. Ijust sent him a private email
suggesting that he modify php.ini to not use secure connections, create a
regular SQL login, and make him the dbo. He is running PHP 5.2.5 on Apache
2.2, not using CGI. I tried various ntwdblib.dll's, some of which would
fail on connection and some of which succeeded. He is currently running
ntwdblib.dll version 8.00.194, which I have used successfully in all my
installations.
I added debugging code to the DAL and it is sending properly structured SQL
queries to the backend, but is failing on the queryid, suggesting to me that
this is a permissions issue. SQL Server 2005 is responding to port 1433,
although it is configured for dynamic ports.
Henry, this might be another thing you may want to try - forcing it to port
1433 instead of using dynamic ports.
I will try to do a remote session with you tomorrow if you don't get this up
and running tonight.
