Hi
With so much bad mouthing of CCS going around lately, I just had to take the time to tout one of the many great things CSS does for us. (There are many and always with a little bit of effort instead of complaining, there always seems to be a way to get done what you want to do.)
This time I got side swiped with a new requirement after nearly completing a contract. My client added multi language support for the web site.
I was able to make the change to the entire site within a couple of hours, support 4 languages with translations and even include language variable content from database tables. (The site was a mini CMS with content coming from tables. Now it had to have tables for content in each language)
I have been developing software for quite a few years and I have never used a development tool that would allow this sort of functionality and change of requirements so quickly and relatively easily.
This is just another reason I love CCS.
If you want to see how it works go to:

I had to share this joy with all.
Happy 4th of July !!!!
Have fun. I am going to get my Beer Now...

I agree John, localization and a lot of stuff CCS does rocks. Like the $Tpl variable that is totally awesome. It's just a good thing I'm the kinda guy that will assemble the new grill for the patio then look at the instructions to see if I did it right.
Docs could be better, but I'm getting good at reading thier code and making it go.
BTW... I'm catching up to you on posts!!!!
Rick

Instructructions? You mean there are Instructions? The BBQ looks ok to me..
Incidentally, I used youe help with the $Tpl object to dynamically change the page title in the title bar and the meta tags for keywords and description from the language tables in the database based on the locale. WORKED LIKE A GEM!! Thanks.
Gotta get the BBQ going and catch up on my beer.
Have a Great 4th.

Actually, can someone help me several questions related to multi-language.
I am retrofitting an application to use language and struggling...
How can I make a dropdown select another language and reload page with different language?
I tried to bind the js change event to submit form but .... I cannot get mine to work??
How do you get buttons to change for different language?
I tried setting src to be Styles/GreenApple/Images/{lang}/ButtonClear.gif hoping that the {lang} would be filled in via the lang query string... what did other folks use?
When I used Static Links, I used {res:xxxx} approach and this worked well.
