hi forum,

ive got a urgent question: ich made a huge webproject with codecharge. in the past it always runs on a webserver in our office, it was a testing software. but now we need to bring it online and i would like to set every page to "restricted". i have more than a hundret pages and its horrible to click this option on every page (details). is there a possibility to set ALL pages of my project to:

restricted: yes
usergroups: 1,2,3,4
convert url to: ssl
ssl access only: yes

if there is no possibility i need to click on EVERY single page to make this settings. i hope you have got a trick for me...

thanks very much...

its very easy: all the information is in the css file. open all css files with a find and replace tool and replace what you need. then open your project again and publish all the pages, thats all :-) it worked fine for me...

greetings

Backup Backup Backup
Scheibob's method seems to work ok.
I took one (simple) page, saved the .ccp
Then set SSL + security, generate and closed CCS.
compared the new and the saved
applied the search and replace for the found differences.
Mainly:
secured="False" => secured="True"
urlType="" => urlType="SSL"
SSLAccess =>"True"
<SecurityGroups></SecurityGroups> =>
<SecurityGroups>
<Group id="3" groupID="1"/>
<Group id="4" groupID="2"/>
</SecurityGroups>
The above (Secutiry) differs per project!

A nice one (not tested) is
needGeneration="0"
most likely if set to "1" will cause generation in "part" generate as opposed to F9, which would be advisable.

Walter
