I'm trying out CCStudio. It's supposed to do a date format based on a format I set at beginning of project but it keeps showing the date in the standard MySql format. Must say studio is less intuitive then CC. Dont know yet if I'll be switching if it comes out. The PHP code is less readable and defining custom code as used in earlier cc projects is a bit of a hassle. I tried converting the date format with the functions I wrote for CC but somehow that wont work either. I think less expierenced users will have some trouble with the way CCStudio is set up. I feel the learning curve is a lot steeper then was the case with CC. Just getting a menu grid is quite a hassle and no longer a standard choice. Mmh I'm not sure what to think of it yet but so dar it hasn't impressed me like CC did in the first few seconds I used it. Maybe CCStudio will be more of an aquiered taste and less McDonalds as CC is.

Date Format Changes in php won't take place in this beta.
This bug should be fixed in the next release.

I fully agree with Ron, the troubles I have with european date format in CCS keep me away from CCS.

I had a hard time with european dates ( CCS+ASP+MSSQL odbc) but with the help of the technical support it's ok now. All my dates are jj/mm/aaaa ! But I admit having tested a number of possible combinations, and I suggest a particular effort of CC in their documentations, about HOW dates are handled in the long chain from keyboard to database and back to screen.

Please guys did you look at the date of the original posting? I have no problems what so ever with dates in the current beta version of CCS.
So if you still have problems you'd better do a new posting describing your troubles or contact yes to see what's wrong. The posting dates back 8 months..... I do believe some things have changed since then.

CC Studio works fine for me, no date problem at all, and alot more easier than CC. In case of coding it is a time saver, and i almost forget about dreamweaver or frontpage. Themes system is alot more easier and powerful than CC. I've been coding with php for quite lonmg time, but now CC studio is fine. That's all. y'all need to learn more about CC Studio. (btw, cut the mcdonalds crap, sheezzzz)
