I made a recording with voice. It sounded fine on my desk during playback. When I copy it to the network and other computers my voice is now very slow and distorted.

what did you specify as output? AVI GIF FLV....?
Did you use compression?
Can I acces your result somewhere?
as a joke: can you speak faster?

My first guess is that your uploaded recordings starts playing while still downloded and this isn't fast enough.
When the whole file is downloaded before it is played I suppose it will be sounding as on your desk.
