I just want to make sure when using CCS' built-in autocomplete - it returns the text column and we cannot return the bound (key)?
if so - isn't it a bit stupid?

You can do it...
With a little cheating.
Add an image to the list and make the ALT text the text you want to display in the list and separate the value with a - sign or something
Make the image fake so it does not display, the alt text will be displayed instead :)

seems like this only works nice in Firefox, IE displays a placeholder....
