I'm trying to setup Advance Serach using a form similar to employee example

My table of Equipment has Manufacturers and Categories setup a simple ID,
Name
(eg. Departments in Employee example)

Normally the records are filtered by Category and has been working for
months
I've been asked to add a filter by Manufacturers ID ... manuf_id

I get the following error

Database Error: Column 'manuf_id' in where clause is ambiguous

Both Manufacturer and Category tables are setup in the same way, both are
droplist
my sql includes all 3 table

I've obviously missed something but can't see what

in the past, for me, this has meant that i have a field named the same thing in two tables.
check your tables and make sure that manuf_id is a unique name.
you may have to change one to mauf_id2 or something similar

.... or create an alias for the field name in the Visual Query Builder.
