IMHO the CCS style management is a bit 'flakey'. Some observations from a novice:

1. Start with a 'canned' style (ie, one that CCS offers), modify it as you see fit, then SAVE it as a new style.

2. Set your Project to use this style.

3. Check your html that your custom style is declared. Now here is the totally confusing bit... CCS creates 2 css files: Style.css and Style_doctype.css. Which do you use??? I did ask this of YesSoftware but the answer wasn't that useful. Here's what I do:

A. Pick a style you basically like

B. Modify the style ( or don't)

C. Save it as a new style.

D. Rename your style to something appropriate, eg 'main.css'.

E. Ensure all your pages call this style sheet.

Now, you can modify your specified style sheet to your heart's content!
