Hi Everyone,

Using PHP / CSS 4.0 latest version:

if you can load this page: http://test.caracol.com/index2.php I have a
dbupdate which works fine (click on the "Recommend" link and a do a page
refresh and you will see a counter increase for every click).

I would like to refresh the page (or panel) every time the link is clicked
to reflect the latest count.

I tried adding an "Update Panel" but can not get it to work.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Jan,

I suspect that the update panel is not working for you, as you use a link to do your counting stuff.
The link does the background update, but does not refresh the page at all.
As there is no refresh, the update panel does nothing.

In all examples updatepanel is used in combination with a submit button.
Submit willactually do its stuff and then return (refresh) the page, update panel will then act.

Suspect, I said.
Also where, or how large, is your update panel?

greetz,

Walter
